1. Great unit!

   I am a certified installer for Best Buy and have had two of these units for over four years and have yet to have a problem with them they are great. And I have seen a lot of products come out in the years that I’ve been here that usually have many problems. So this unit is great!!

3. Buyers beware

   It’s one of the worst (if not the worst) radio for my car. Terrible in all aspects, reproduction, reading dvd’s and cd’s, the quality of the product is very bad and cheap.

   I have had this in my daily driver for almost a year now, and the problems others have are non-existent on this unit. I am a professional certified installer, and took great care on the installation, this does make a big difference no matter what brand you buy. I give it a 9 for not having a touch screen, and the wholesale price($420), which is reasonable but not far away from other full-featured models kenwood and others offer. If you can get this for under $400, it is worth the money speaking from a consumers` point of view.

7. Really Sucks

   I bought this for about $500 and expected it to work at least better than the Kenwood I use to have which I bought for a little over $100 but it does not, right now after having it for like 2 months it does not even read the discs anymore, it says unknown disc or no disc. Try cleaning and reseting it but still the same.

   THIS UNIT WAS A GREAT BUY.JUST LIKE THE CIRCUIT CITY SALES PERSON SAID IT WOULD BE.PICTURE WAS GREAT AND THE SOUND WAS EVEN BETTER. WITH2 REMOTES…..

9. too many problems - not worth it

   The bass-boost (loud) setting gets lost every time you change tracks or press almost any other button. It gets restored if you adjust the volume afterwards. I kept tweaking the audio settings and scratching my head until I realized this is a product defect.
   CD skips while the car is parked – probably another software/firmware bug.
   LCD panel (displayed when the screen is retracted) is impossible to read in broad daylight – easy to read in the dark though.
   I find the joystick on the unit is extremely frustrating to use.
   Fan noise is also annoying, but I don’t know if it’s typical for this kind of product.
   On the plus side, the unit does play CDs, DVDs, and MP3s. It’s cheap and easy to install. But I wouldn’t have bought it if I knew it had these problems.

    Touch screen would be nice, but that would cost more. No problems except for and occasional skip. Good picture, stereo and surround sound with equalizer. All necessary pre-outs including sub.
