Have had this stereo for three or four years, would highly recommend it. Great sound quality (w/ bose accustimass speakers)and really like the remote’s learning function.

“…demanding THX certification” what a joke, when I got this thing I instantly noticed a major reduction in both bass level and quality when compared to the Technics SA-AX920. Last night I switched back and I finally realized how cheap the 7070 is. Drum sets were muddy and lacked that percussion instrument hit, after switching back to the Technics, We were blown away by the sound or more importantly the thump in our chest and guts. Other than pathetic bass it is loaded with useless features(some of them) and clear and crisp highs.

I got this a couple of years ago and it has never failed to amaze me. The sound out of this is argubly better than the theater…fantastic surround sound with amazing power!

I have had my Kenwood 7070 for about 3 months ago, and I’m still amazed by how great it sounds. I have had friends over with other surround systems, and they all regret not having got the Kenwood system, after hearing mine.

There is plenty of power, and you won’t miss the theater experience at all with the amazing sound that wraps around you while you watch your favorite DVDs.
