S4 Review

I love these headphones. I had the Bose prior to this, but consistent problems with the replaceable earbuds and frayed wires where the connection to the earbud was frustrated me. Then I found the S4, and I am not disappointed. The sound is great for such a compact headphone. You can really tell which artist took the time in the studio to get it right, and who just pushed a product out the door. Most recently, actually last night, I had a problem with the S4. Seems I took them off to go to the bathroom and draped them over my shoulders, well, when the zipper came up, they fell off (my fault) right into the pee filled toilet. They were still connected to the iPod, I figured that was all she wrote, pulled them out and threw them into the sink and soaked them with hot water. Wrapped them in a paper towel, continued journey until I got home an hour later, then soaked them in alcohol for about ten minutes, spun them in the air like I was about to shoot a rock out of a sling, hit them with a blow drier on hot for about five minutes watching the heat, plugged them in the iPod full blast for the entire Police, Ghosts in the Machine Lp and went to sleep. Just fifteen minutes ago, the ultimate test, and guess what, they sound as good as new. I don’t recommend soaking them in urine or alcohol, but that they are still working, utterly amazing!!!! I’m forever a fan!!!
