If I ever learn how to use all of the options of this camera. I love it now, but know I’ll like it a lot better if I ever learn all of the options it has. It seems hard until you learn how to use it then it’s easy, like everything else. Hard until you learn. Good camera for the price. I’ll buy another one if this one breaks or wears out???

I’ve experienced most of the well known brands of cameras, both regular and digital.

For the money I paid for it I couldn’t get a better camera. I like the perfect pictures I get in almost every condition and technically I think is quite advanced. If I were to buy another camera I would get another Kodak C-875.

I bought Kodak c433 almost one and half year ago and it did work very well. So thought it is a time for upgrade. So went for c875 as it has higher mp and relatively more optical zoom in similar cameras. But highly disappointed. It can take good pictures only if ideal condition (such as bright lights, objects near). When trying to use optical zoom, most of the time it gives blurry images. Flash is very weak and it really eats up battery power. I just returned this camera after I tried a lot to get it working (using manual mode etc).

ISO settings 400 & lower look good. Lithium batteries gave 670 8m shots with flash + 1hr. & 40 min of video!! Panaramic mode is perfect in camera. Optical zoom in video mode works & if done slowly will stay in focus mostly. Shots are under exposed but clean up good in an editor. Also need a saturation boost. Edge enhancement reminds me of Plus-X film. Got 670 shots & 30 min. of video on a 2 gig card. All of this for $180.

I am really impressed with this camera, the image quality is first rate with low noise and lovely colours straight out of the camera, the best I have seen from a small camera..ever, and I have owned and used loads. Lovely simple clean design with good zoom range, clever smart scene and panorama feature..good price/size, AA batteries are ok, but carry a couple of spares (no big deal really)..Love it Love it Love it

This is a lovely little camera

It is small but well made the casing feels firm and sturdy

The controls are well made and do not feel like they will fall off in your hands which is good

Picture quality is very good and as you would expect from Kodak colours are good too, the camera has a full smart scene mode that knows what picture you are taking and adjusts the programme accordingly amazingly simple for novices or people that just want to point and shoot
The is a fully manual mode for those that want to play around with focal length exposure and anything else for that matter

The is a small amount of purple fringing but you expect that from all digital camera to some extent and this is very minor and you have to look for it

The camera has a very good panoramic feature that stitches two or three pictures together and works easily and well

The is also histographic scale to help get the perfect picture and also Kodak picture technology that at a push of a button turns a dull picture into something taken by David Bailey

Video mode is good quality and looks good on your TV or PC when played back

I have two grumbles and they are only grumbles

The flash is bright if you take a picture indoors nearer than the other side of the room the subject will be very bright,

Battery life is very poor place some new powerful batteries in and they drain very quickly I would suggest not using alkaline batteries and to get a rechargeable set that will be cheaper in the long run

So again nice camera that suits all sorts of styles and have found the price range from £249 down to £161 at Dabs.com
