This camera was the biggest disappointment for me, not to mention the price and the quality of the camera. The camera may look good but trust me its not worth the money.2 months after my purchase of this camera the sound stopped working, then like 4 weeks later it just all of a sudden got dark. When i turn it on you cant see anything it is completly dark. I am just so upset with this device because it was not worth the money. I definitly wouldn’t recommend that anyone buy this product.

Definitely not happy

This camera was all well and good for around a year. Took pretty good pictures and I used it all the time. Then the sensor went bad. I had horizontal lines all over my pictures and the images were extremely blurry and very light. You couldn’t see a thing! I called and was told I had to pay to fix it. Conveniently around the time the warranty expired, the camera broke. Now I’m stuck with a defective camera. I won’t ever buy this camera, or another Kodak camera again.

Great camera for what it is!

I gave this camera a 10, because it is a 10 for what is: A very basic point and shoot digital camera that is nice for taking snapshot you want to email to someone. It has a fair number of exposure settings, focus settings and scene settings. Focus is quite sharp in my opinion. Took a photo of my dad holding his fish, and the fishing LINE was tack sharp. I wasn’t even expecting to see the line.
I would rate this camera a 2 if I was comparing it to a $2000 camera. However, too many people are doing this. I am rating the camera for what it IS, not comparing it to something it isn’t!! If you want a REAL camera; Shell out some extra bucks. Don’t whine that your $150 camera doesn’t produce professional results!!!!

I got this camera for Christmas and was very excited. I have an older Kodak – 6 MP – and I love it, so I wanted to stick with Kodak. 10 MP for $200! Great deal right?! Wrong. I took lots of pictures with family over the rest of the Christmas break – and I got 7 good shots….meaning not blurry. I even thought taking picture of a cup with the camera on the counter would help…but no. Still blurry. Do NOT get this….wait for a later model so they can work out the kinks.

Biggest disappointment ever

When I bought this camera at one of the big box discount stores I was pretty excited. Here was a camera I could put in my pocket and have 10 megapixels. My last point and shoot was a Kodak so which I was very happy with and I needed a pocket-able camera for times when I don’t want to carry my DSLR and all the gear. This camera turned out to be a huge disappointment. The worst of it is the horrible lag time between pointing and shooting. It should be called a “point and wait forever until you just don’t care anymore” camera. Want to get that great smile on your nephew’s face? Forget it… you end up getting a shot of the back of his head as he walks away. Seriously, it is horrible. I just sold it to a guy while traveling in Korea… was so happy to unload it at well less than half of what I paid for it – after only 3 months. Best money I ever recovered…. now I’ll spend more time researching and buy something I won’t hate with every shot.

This is a really good camera, my wife wanted something simple to use but have high megapixel, we have a canon but she has hard time with it. This camera is simple and takes good pics, she is very happy.

Easy To Share

This camera compared to my last camera (Cannon Powershot SD650) has a much more attractive screen, and layout, anyone who can read could pick up this camera and shoot like they’ve been doing it for years because of it’s easy to read options, and “help” button to explain each option in detail, I like it’s sleek lightweight design and button layout. Downfall the retracting lens is a little overkill.

This Camera sucks!
By: Katie
December 27, 2007 @ 12:24 PM13ppm12>
I recently purchased this camera, because it was stylish, has awesome mega pixel, awesome zoom and it seemed to be taking great pictures. It has only been a month and my camera has not been saving the pictures that I take. I will be able to review the pictures after I take them, crop them, whatever I need to do with them, but as soon as I turn my camera off, it deletes everything! It always comes up as “File Format unknown” and “Memory Card needs to be formatted” I have done this SEVERAL times, with several different cards, and still NO luck what so ever.
The receipt accidently got misplaced somewhere and the store will not even replace it with a new one, in case it is just a manufactures error.
So that was $200+ dollars down the drain, this is not a camera or brand I will EVER buy again.
Signed, one angry photographer.

Decent camera

Nice camera of course I got it for free for signing up for DSL; that said, I feel it’s a decent camera and reviews I read about button difficulty and placement is a joke and what’s wrong with these CNet reviewers the buttons are fine unless you’re missing a thumb. The only thing I don’t like is lack of memory expansion and at 10 mp you get only 6 pix and 36 pix at lowest setting of 1.2 mp.

For the money it is top notch. Easy to use and reliable. If I wanted perfect pictures, I’d spent more money. This does the trick.

We are Easyshare fans, this would be our third camera. But I am not pleased with the focus, it is not reliable. Some great shots were lost because, for some unexplainable reason, the camera would fail to focus, even on auto. Light exposure not consistant. But when it took good pics, they were great.

My mother is not tech savvy

This is very user-friendly and works with my mother’s Kodak Print Doc Station. She LOVES the wide LCD screen. Since she is much older in age her eyesight is not as great as it once was. She went on a quest to look for something she could easily use and something that had a BIG screen. She ABSOLUTELY Loves this camera and hasn’t had any problems as of yet. I do have to say she hasn’t had it very long, so anyting is possible. But overall she loves it.

I asked for a digital camera for my birthday and I got this. Sure the intentions were good, but overall this review summarized every one of my concerns. At the end of the day the pictures do look ok, but you miss a few now and then.
