It’s a good webcam and a digital camera every thing works you only have to put in the battery’s right. I was amazed with the thing’s you can do with this cam it’s a great cam only a bit on the big side, but for the rest it’s great

When the cam is hooked up to the computer, its amazing the amount of things you can do with it… but when i bought it I was told that it could be used as a digi cam too, just add batteryes. Well….Ive had it for a few months now, and I can’t get the digi cam party of it to work at all. I love it as a web cam tho, and its got a great picture comparativly. I just wish i could get it to do everything properly!!

Lots of fun to use. Great web cam. Good quality for still pics. Just stick it in you pocket and to. Uses batteries rather quickly. Still good choice for combination web and still shots.

First day I bought it, I LOVED it. Since then it has had MAJOR battery problems. I’ve already tried returning it for a different one but the new one has the same problem! I put in new batteries but then after a couple of pics, it shuts off from having no batteries left. WHAT IS UP WITH IT. So now I can only use it as a webcam since it is so undependable as a digital camera, never knowing when it will just shut off. I’ve wasted my money.

As for me, and talking of this webcam, as a webcam..!! It`s good..but..but..!! Here it comes..sob If i had to pick holes in it, which i must..sob, again..!! Ones in preferences, and you have set ya cam up how you like it..:-) And believe me, you can get the pic looking good..but you can`t apply the settings…aaaargh..:-( Everytime i use my 510..!! I have to set it up again..boooo..!! The apply tab is never highlighted..!!

I start with a dark screen, then have to do the light thing, with, i might add>>> People viewing me cam..aaaargh..again..sob..!!

Also>>>> When trying to use my 510, as a camera..:-) It`s a nightmare..:-( Just keeps shutting off, just as you are going to take a pic..bleet..bleet..!!

Come on you lot at clicksmart..!! This could be a good cam, but ya just need to sort ya tweeks out..huh..?? It`s an expensive cam..!! I think it could be a lot better that what it is…:-(

  7. Excellent value

I agree with the full review presented and will only add a couple comments. The battery door at the bottom of the camera seems to have a penchant for popping open, especially when the camera is in a pocket or bag, spilling batteries about. The time-out feature seems a little on the quick side, causing the user to have to restart the camera just when a picture is about to be snapped. And the focus can be on the soft side when used as a digital camera.

But for a $130 camera that fits nicely in your pocket, it’s a wonderful product and I find I use it nearly every day — far more as a camera than as a webcam (which was the original reason I bought it).
