I’ve been using this headset for 3 yrs up to now and it’s still working fine. I really have no complaint for this product. For such a low price, I think that this model delivers beyond what I can possibly expect as for the sound quality and other features.

Hi, my logitech internet chat headset is great in all respects, attractive, comfortable, love the 9ft cable…but noone can hear me talk? I’ve come across a lot of people in forums, same problem, and no solution? the Logitech website was unhelpful, as was HP?

I looked around for a headset+mic and heard logitech was a good brand, MS as well. But I wanted a lightweight, compact-ish, comfortable, reasonable quality and cheap price. I heard I could get AU$8 one from supermarket, it was cheap but bulky and low-quality. I saw some higher priced ones around AU$40.

Then I saw this one in local elec store for $20! almost 50% the normal price… true it maybe phasing out stock, but it was what i wanted. i.e it met my requirements (listed above). I tried them out playing battlefield 2140 that night and was satisfied with comfort and quality. I wouldn’t really use it for listening to music… just for chatting and gaming, i.e low-fidelity, long-duration usage. (Value/Price => Big tick)

I bet very few people would complain about this headset if they hadn’t known the price. I love this beautiful headset with a cord that is not too short either.

Well for me the mic is fine, easily loud enough as long as you know how to turn on mic boost in windows.

    The headphones however are abysmal.

    Mic – 7or8/10
    Headphones – 2/10
Which is basically one point for fitting head ok, one for actually working at all..

This product does not work for me. The sound is barely audible while recording. People will not hear me through VOIP because the microphone is not sensitive enough. I wasted too much time adjusting audio properties with no effect. With the same computer I get exceptional voice quality results using simple $1 (one dollar) computer condenser microphone!

The design is awesome and comfortable and the option to change ear peice colors is wonderful. The length of cable is great. All these good features are to no use if the product does not function. Friends could only hear garbled noise when I spoke. Tried set up on Yahoo’s Instant Messanger and diagnosis showed that headphones appeared to be operational. I don’t think so. I have a brand new DELL just purchased 1 month ago.

For those of us that are disabled and cannot use the keyboard, it works great w/ Voice Recognition Software like Dragon Naturally Speaking.

  11. Work well but crappy padding.

I was a happy camper when I bought this headset. The only gripe I had was that they don’t have decent bass. Other than that, I was pretty happy. But after a few months of use the padding around the microphone just fell off. No mistreatment just normal use and the thing fell off. Well, I decided to let that slide because my frends could still hear me with the same good quality. Then, after a month the ear pads would keep falling off. I don’t think it’s too much to ask to have a piece of hardware last at least a year before it falls apart. I will be writing to Logitech to see if the warranty covers this. I’m sure they will just tell me that there’s nothing they can do. If you buy these keep them in a glass case or they will fall apart in less than 6 months.

my problem is the fact that if its not compatible with every one,s software ,logitech could at least set up a support for that purpose

The problems you people are experiencing are obviously (you can both hear yourself locally) because the settings of the software you’re using aren’t right.
Neither of you mentioned which software you’re using, and you can’t expect Logitech to support other companies’ software anyway.
Try the forum that belongs to the website for the software you’re using.
