short circuits

I’ve gone through two of these headsets in two years and just got my third. Each set inevitably gets some kind of short circuit in the volume control and messes up the speakers. My microphone works fine, but eventually the volume control starts switching the sound from one ear to another when adjusted and if it gets accidentally jostled or pushed on it can ruin the stereo effect permanently. Until this happens, though, it’s the highest quality set of its kind I can find.

Mic bad

I bought this from the local Office Depot and the Mic portion stopped working within a few days. The speakers on the headset still work. At first I thought it may be the settings on my PC or the VoIP program I was using, but I tried a different headset and it worked.
