Amazingly kick Ass speaker system!

Bought this speaker and hooked up to my TV with the adapter provided and I was very impressed how this speaker sounds. With the matrix depressed all the time, it sounds like the Z-560s that I also owned. I would give high 10 to logitech for a job well done on designing this speaker system. Definitely this is the speaker that everybody should consider to buy. This a kiss ass system! Go buy one!

Small but Incredibly Amazing!

I recently bought Z-640 speaker and I am very much impressed with the speaker system. It certainly don’t compare with high end offerings like the two Z-560s that I also owned, for raw power or pin dropping clarity, but within their price range they offer the end user a very tempting choice when considering a new speaker purchase on a tight budget. Conclusively all I can say is that while the Z-640 speakers will not rattle the windows or scare the dogs in your house, they are a good audio system for someone looking for a sub $89 cdn system that can game as well as play music and movies.

Excellent product for the money!!

I bought this system over a year ago, and still have yet to find ANYTHING that sounds so good at a similar price. The ONLY thing I was shocked about, was the actual size of the subwoofer speaker itself. (about 4.5-5 inches) The subs cabinet design, however, enhances the bass response, and is augmented further by the “passive radiator” in the front of the unit.
The “dual chamber” design is excellent. (I’ve been inside these speakers) Overall, EXCELENT system for the money.

Very good for the price

I was plesently supprised by how well these speakers work for as inexpensive as they are.
They don’t quite match my main system (a tweeked Nikko Alpha III feeding a pair of Advent speakers), but at reasonable volume levels they are close.

Outstanding. With Everything. Croce, Sinatra, Matrix, Tool, Starcraft, Q3, Full Metal Jacket dvd, Robert Earl Keen. I haven’t hooked them to the stereo in the living room yet, but I can if I want. Play with the fader/center to suit you, and wall mount them instead of leaving them by the monitor. And they look great, like little Banana 2000 from Bloom County.
Now some AC/DC, I think the neighbors are getting scared.

Pretty darn good

I am impressed at the sound reproduction and the ease of setup. Pops slightly above 75% volume and is slightly staticy at that level also. All in all a wonderful product. The separate gain on the sub woofer is a great addition as is the matrix feature which reproduces a simulated center channel that is very good. Would have liked to see an AC3 adapter and other s for hooking in to popular sound cards that do not have a center channel port.

Check out http://www.justdeals.com to find these speakers for like $35, the absolut best deal for price / performance ratio. Truly amazing for the price, especially when paired up with Biostar’s M7NCG nForce2 motherboard with the built in surround sound and GeForce4MX graphics, anyone would have a nice multimedia system to boot.

You can find these speakers as low as $59.99 with various mail in rebates etc. I wonder if Logitech even meant to price them this low because they sounds great and are an awsome value.
