1. Overall performance and comfort A++

   I sat in a B and C size Aeron chair, Freedom chair, and a Mirra. Freedom didn’t quite do it for me, but after sitting in the Aeron and Mirra, I was surprised that the Mirra didn’t make me feel clostrophobic, even though I tried a C size Aeron too.

   I felt like I had no room to comfortably move around in the Aeron and was sold on the Mirra. for it’s generally wider base, color options, sleek design compared to the Aeron, and options availability. Many options you pay extra money for in an Aeron, you got standard with the Mirra.

   For a chair that fits more than 90% of the world’s body types, the Mirra is a good condidate for most people wanting a good task chair that will let them fit comfortably all day.

   For those wondering about the mesh backing available on the Aeron vs. the polymer plastic on tmr Mirra (which has no mesh on back), there hasn’t been a big difference in comfort …I hardly notice the fact that it’s harder, since it’s ergonomically designed to flow WITH the back, rather than try and mold your back to the seat like flatter chairs. Don’t let this necessarily be your decision maker (ie., the mesh).

2. Value, comfort, & adjustable

   Value is subjective of course, but compared to other products of this caliber the Mirra is a bargain. I was recently forced to get a very ergonomic chair after being in an auto accident. The Mirra, with it’s forward tilting “attack position” slant and highly adjustable arm rests took all the pressure off my shoulders and neck and alleviated my pain.
