  1. Possibly the worst phone ever made

I have been through over 15, yes 15 razrs.
I fell for the phone because of its futuristic styling, my first was the v3, when it worked it has very low volume so low it can’t be heard when driving with the window even the slightest bit down, the camera is worthless, and the software jams up all the time, I went through 5 of these, all had problems.

Still a sucker for the futuristic styling, I bought the V3i thinking it would be vastly improved…WRONG AGAIN! The first one had problems right out of the box, the camera was blurry, and it dropped calls. I returned it and got another one, the speaker buzzed and went out after a month, third one brand new off eBay, worked for two months then one day the display went out, fourth one would black out and the screen would go blank and reset on its. And on and on.

Finally I just gave up on Motorola and the razr.

I am shocked that a company with such a strong history of quality turned out such a pile of crap.

This phone is all about looks and fashion, but if you actually want to use it, you’re screwed.

Bottom line: avoid this phone like you would avoid the plague.

  2. Worst Phone Ever!

The RAZR was my first cellphone. I bought it in September of last year and I just had my 3rd RAZR replaced with a LG. It was a piece of junk. The first one shut off by itself all the time, the second one froze up and the ringer kept going up and down by itself, and the 3rd RAZR did the same as the first. Then AT&T gives me two choices of replacement phones to choose from, a RAZR V3XX and a LG Trax. I picked the Trax, because I don’t trust the RAZR and you shouldn’t either.

This is the worst phone i have ever owned. I have needed to get 4 replacements because this phone was not built to last. among the dozens of problems ive had the biggest pains were the keys constantly crapping out, the video player not working, the earpeice’s speaker blowing out and making a vibrating noise, a strange dust that clings to the screen and doesnt come out plus losing reception if the phone isnt sitting out in the open. This phone is a real burden I strongly advise anyone considering it to get a samsung or pretty much any other phone. plus everyone has razrs now so might as well be original and also get the last laugh

  4. Best performance ever

As a cell phone user for almost ten years, this is the most impressive, versatile and capable cell phone I’ve ever used. The signal strength means clear, uninterrupted phone calls and almost unlimited coverage in and out of the local calling area. As a business person, I find that the contact list and scheduling software are very handy, as well as the slim profile that allows the phone to virtually disappear in my pocket.
I have used my Razr for three monnths now and have yet to find a flaw or reason to dislike this phone.

The quality and capabilities of the V3 was enough to put up with swapping providers. While the phone design was the primary reason for interest the additional functionality was the clincher.
For some reason the cell provider chose to lock out features (eg. Java apps) it didn’t take long to cure and now I’m using a tool that provides all the requirements of my job. After two months of use I’ve experienced none of problems discussed already and the ability to charge off my laptop is a big plus.

I work at Tmobile and have seen nothing but problems with this phone from customers. Customer complaints range from very poor reception and sound all the way to poor battery and over heating (the cingular version actually burned peoples faces.) Do yourself a huge favor and reconsider any motorola purchase you are about to make. Class action law suit don’t happen against companies for no reason. Motorola just doesn’t know how to make a phone anymore. Forget the old phones you used to love. Motorola promises to bring the integrity back. I have heard that for a few years now. Don’t count on it.
