My Palm is one month old and I wish I had never gotten this phone. It doesn’t keep a signal and it shuts off when ever. The red light never goes off, so basically it doesn’t work. It’s a hit or miss kind of phone. It sucks!!

good and bad

I love the phone for most of its features but I have been having some problems. I bought it like 4/5 months ago and it freezes on me anytime I get another call and try to answer it so I have to take the battery out to get it to work. It just looses signal in places I know I get it (like in my home) and I have to take the battery out to get signal again. The worst is after being on it for 5 minutes or more it gets hot and kind of burns my ear and when I put it back in my pocket I can feel the heat on my leg, it actually really freaks me out… and the batteries I have gotten so far suck with keeping a charge!

I bought my Palm Centro 2 months and I love it. I originally thought the small buttons would be a problem, but it isn’t. I love the touch screen feature. I highly recommend this phone.

I just got this phone yesterday and it’s great. I have had no problems at all so far. I have added GBA games and a lot of other things and they all work. I have small and quick fingers so typing on the small keyboard is no problem for me. The music is loud and I like how pocket tunes deluxe is built in. You can also listen to music when doing anything but talking. There are only two things I don’t like about it: the stylus and camera.

Nice phone

I really struggled between the Blackberry and the Palm Centro and ended up with the Palm Centro because of its size. The traditional Blackberry was too big and the keyboard on the Blackberry Pearl was horrible. Overall, I am pleased. Yes, the keyboard is a bit small but you have to accept that if you want a small phone and a full keyboard. My two complaints are that there is no back button that I can find and that the stylus feels way too delicate. I know at some point it is going to break. It does not have the same solid feel as the stylus on the Treo. So, really it does everything I want it to do and more. The music sounds great. The camera is decent and it synchs without the problems I experienced with my Treo for outlook so I am a happy camper. Now, if it had Bubble Breaker on it. It would deserve an even higher score :)

Still can't decide

Still don’t know if I like it. I have had it for about a month and am having some issues. Doesn’t have a flash for the camera, doesn’t have a back button, only one alarm, sometimes it has a mind of its own. I figure by the time I get I figured out it will be time for a new one.

I have had mine for a few weeks now. It is the first smartphone I have owned. To me it is great for what I need. I could understand how some would get frustrated, but it isn’t supposed to be the best thing out there. Me and my wife don’t have very serious issues with ours. The keys are a little too small, and I had to shim the battery cover for it to fit better but thats it.

Broke

Loved the little thing, for the first 32 days I had it. Then I stupidly dropped it, once, and the screen broke. It’s too new for Palm to have any spare parts to repair, and it’s not worth spending $300 to replace it. My advice: do 2 things. Don’t procrastinate getting the protection plan and immediately buy a leather cover for it.

I got mine a while ago and I love the touch screen, and I use actually find myself using the stylus more than I thought.
