Please ignore the precedent review. This camcorder is very well rated by most tests and user reviews. You can find some of them in camcorderinfo.com, cnet.com.

Still image quality is deplorable

Panasonic say it is 4MPixel
No way, images are no where near as good as my 2.1MP Canon
