Surprisingly good audio.

This unit sounds better than a separate amp (or so) that I have used in the past. Budget audio should not be construed as sounding inferior to high end just because it’s cheap. Panasonic, if anybody, has the resources to design a great audio product. Clean highs, detail and “balls” describe the sound of this unit. I’m driving a pair of low efficiency Maggies with it too. This is all on the condition that it isn’t turned up to “rock concert” volume at which point it starts to run out of steam. Radio, of all things, is fantastic on this unit!. Especially AM reception. One big downside is that stations connot be tuned from the remote in frequency intervals. Only presets from the remote.
