    How about DVD-R/RW? I think it does not accept DVD-R/RW disc type.

  2. I found the drivers DVDRW228 DVD+RW

    All,
    You can download the firmware update from http://www.p4c.philips.com
    put in model DVDRW228
    select model dvdrw228k/00 in the selections to the left. Hit enter, select software in the left and you will get to the page with the 4meg DL of the firmware. Hope this helps.

    Philips DVD/CD writers have never been top of their class, but they are average for the most part. I went to Philips site and couldn’t find the drivers either.

    I cannot find a driver for this philips dvd-rom player.
    they have to be one of the worst for not providing drivers for their products.

    Great Drive, Cheap, easy to use.
    Abysmal driver support. Do yourself a favour, buy a drive from a company that actually provides drivers for the damn thing.
