Yes the thing is excellent and battery back up-is excellent. But I feel that the build quality is very flimsy and the glossy body is highly scratch prone. Got mine laminated. Other than that its excellent and a Value for money thing plus the brand name of Philips which enjoys its own snob value in India.

I think that the Go Gear is awesome! Why buy an iPod shuffle when you can get the Go Gear, that does way more, for about the same price? I guess with the iPod your just paying for the name, filling up the pockets of the rich. I tell people about the Go Gear and they can’t believe that it only cost about fifty bucks and does all that it does.

Got the 4g version because its so small. The shuffle feature is great. I only use it for music and it has great sound. Got it over a month ago and no problems. I think the battery life is about 20 hours of use (no video, just music) before recharge. It is Rhapsody compatible and came with a free month of Rhapsody. Nothing complicated about it; everything is intuitive. Can us MS Windows Media Play to transfer music from CD’s.

I’ve had this thing since the beginning of June and it still works. It’s positively great and it’s really worth the money. I love it to death, ha, I even named it too :) I recommend it to everyone one.

I bought this player a week ago. The screen has already started to stop working. I recommend you spend the money and buy a quality item. This product feels cheaply made and my guess is that it only cost about $20 to make. End result is I should have bought an iPod.
