Far surpassing expectations

I greatly prefer the XB1 over surround speakers. Speakers simply do not render the detail and precision that these cans do effortlessly. You will notice clipping on lower end frequencies, but only with a particular source here and there. I should add that I only use them for gaming and movies. I have tried wired cans with the supplied unit, including Sennhieser 595, Beyerdynamic DT860 Audio Technica DCL3000 [AT's Dolby Headphone model], Audio Technica A55 and Grado S60, but none approach the transparency and detail of the supplied XB1 cans. The best piece of electronics I’ve ever owned.
