PLT510 excellent battery life, great sound, comfi

I had a PLT 510 and used it in various cars and on my laptop. People always confirmed the reception was good, even my 92 year old mother on an other continent, in spite of car noise. It was lost and I am replacing it with the same model, as soon as I can get my hands on one.

Light and comfy but outdoor use is really bad

On my 2nd Plantronics Bluetooth – 3 years. Fits well and doesn’t fall off. I’m an outdoors kind of guy, at walking speed the wind is so bad people complain about the sound! The boom rotates, if you rotate it to much the wires break inside. Looks gross when dirty. Doesn’t fit in a pocket to well. The rubber and foam stick to fabric when you try to remove it from your pocket. Other than that it works great.

Have had the 510 for over a year and am extremely happy with it. Long battery life, very comfortable and extra clear sound. Virtually no one one the other ends ever complains about sound quality. Works well in noisy environments. Highly recommended.

I’m on my third Bluetooth and I thought this would be a good choice after reading a LOT of reviews. The audio is great on my end, but my friends say that I sound like I’m speaking underwater and no one can understand my messages b/c the sound cuts out. A disappointment to say the least. Used with a Cingular 8525.

Great Sound and Feel

The main reason to buy this headset is because it sounds wonderful! Not only does it sound good on my end, but it sounds better for who ever is on the recieving end too! It out performed the Plantronics Discovery 645 in outgoing sound quality (which I had previously). The 510 also feels very comfotable to wear…but that’s probably due to it’s larger than average size. But the performance is well worth it. And with heavy talking (everyday), I still managed almost exactly 3 days before the battery died. So it performed as advertised. Excellent Buy.

I Enjoyed Using This Headset Until The Battery Died Much Earlier Than My Motorola 500. I Like The Noise Cancelling Mic But Bring An Extension Cord And Charger If You Leave Your Office.
