Have an early release of this card, installed in my pc since may 2003. running an albatron MB with intel north+south, 1024 megs ram. had early issues until software utilizing Dir.X 9, but after that, i lov ethis card. I virtually cannot overstress this card when maxing out settings on FFXI. LOVE IT!

As of the time i write this, the card can be found for sale for about $170. I also have a NV35 card and this card looks just as good in game play, and due to the exrtra amount of ram, actually plays battlefield a little smoother……..GO FOR IT and have some fun with frags!!!

I ‘upgraded’ to the FX5600 256 MB card. HA! Biggest complaint….jerky in Battlefield.

Slap in the ol’ Ti4200 128 MB card….no more jerky.

    NUFF SAID.

I have this card and wish I didnt, it is so far away from even a 9600 in terms of performance.

The 256mb whats that all about this card would work just as well with 64mb. A marketing gimmick!!

Don’t let the fact that this is a geforce fx card fool you, it cannot compete with the TI4600, Without comparing it to the older card, it is ok, But it would be a downgrade from it….

The 6 score is right on the mark in regards to this card. For the cost of it it is not really a good bargain at all and seems to be just a Ti lower end card that is hyped up. little improvement over the older model is a fact that can not be ignorred. If you are upgrading from a voodoo 3 (as in my case here) then it is money well spent. I sold this card for the chance of upgrading after the nv 40s come out.
