Excellent sound (WOW surround) which is accompanied by high quality earbuds, fantastic display (in the day and in the night), Excellent FM radio reception, Complete accessory package!
The only thing missing is a rechargable battery, over usb for example, but I guess you can’t put everything into the smallest MP3 player of the world

i love this thing! i listen to it everywhere i go! the sound quality is great and the radio works excellantly, although there isn’t very good service in my area (when i was traveling, every other area had perfect reception with almost no background fuzz)! voice recording and fm recording is yet another awesum feature it has! its unbelievable how much recordage time you can pack into such a tiny mp3 player! the playmodes work awesomly as well and the different background colors are all hella sexii! its also really really durable! heh heh i’ve flung it across the room (not on purpose of course lol) a few times and its made loud crashes and comes out without a scratch and unharmed, same happens when i dropped it on concret and wood and granite and carpet! (i do take good care of it but sometimes, especially since its so small, accidents like that happen!) its also really small, about as big as my thumb! design is pimp, its blue and hella smooth and the mini joystick thing to control fast fwd, rwd, and volume is soooo adorable!!! the only downside is it can only hold around 60 songs (mine has 58 and can’t fit anymore, but then they were all ripped at a pretty high quality sound), depending on the quality you rip them at, but still, that is a really amazing feat for an object so friggin small! so, to sum up my ramblings, I LOVE THIS THING!!!

This little thing is pretty amazing. I didnt want to spend $300+ on an MP3 player I would only use in the gym. I can store enough songs on here to get through over 3 hours of workout and not hear the same thing. It is easy to send the music from my computer right to it and the FM Radio feature was an extra, I would have bought it without it. I actually wanted to buy another for my boyfriend as a gift, would defintely reccomend it.

Sure, it’s small and light, but that also detracts from its durability. I bought mine about 4 months ago and now it doesn’t work anymore (used it at the gym while working out). I called the ONE company that can service it and they want $125 because it is no longer under warranty. For that much I can buy a new one, but you can bet it won’t be a Samsung MP3 player.

While i am overall satisfied, the voice record funtion needs an over haul. It won’t save the voice file if you let it play /turn off the player/turn it on again and the file no longer exist. at least that’s what’s been happening to me.

I like almost everything about this player, except the sound quality, that’s why I gave only 5
I did a reseach, you may find it on the (http://maksee.narod.ru/sound/t5/t5snd_e.htm) page, some technical moments, but more than “I don’t like, that’s all…”

Very handy, and I can even control the volume in my pocket with gloves on. It’s small size is a unique feature!
My Yepp YP-T5 also works under Linux as a USB mass storage device, and did not need a driver to be installed under XP.
