I bought the Sansa TakeTv and I really like it. It makes it so easy to record TV and play it elsewhere. I think it is one great device.

I agree with the previous user review. I do not have SanDisk Sansa Take TV, but I do have SanDisk V-Mate, which is a video memory card recorder to record anything you want from TV (movies for example) to the memory card (Memory Stick Pro for example, there are different card possibilities) and watch it later on TV or on Sony PSP or on the PC. Sounds nice, but the only thing NOT NICE is how the remote control works. V-Mate responds usually 2 or 3 times out of 6 you push some buttons on the remote control. And the remote of V-Mate looks suspiciously similar to the remote of Take TV.

So my first thought was – yes, I would like to have Take TV, but the second thought after I’ve done with reviews and videos of Take TV was – no thanks.

Maybe I’m wrong about Take TV, but I will not pay money for a possibility to find out, that I WAS RIGHT.

I own a Radio Shack PC-to-TV converter, and really only have it to compare. What is lacking here is the afterthought that the remote is the critical link in the operation, if the remote fails then nothing will work, I like an simpler solution like a direct feed from the PC or a remote that only functions to turn the device on and off.
