They didn’t last a year! The sound quality was good but the problem was with the part of the wire that has to wrap around your ear, stiff un-comfortable and the outer insulation tore after the repeated twisting it goes thru. Trying to repair the insulation at this part of the wire where it wraps around the ear was fruitless. They need to make their wiring insulation out of a more supple material that can handle the twisting and not so un-comfortable.

i’ve been using Sony ex71 earphones for almost 1 year and when i’m change my earphone with Shure E2C, i’m experiencing large sound improvements with deeper bass sound. It’s isolating system is better than Sony has, it’s more comfortable since it’s tip smaller so you can easily plug in to your ears.
It feels like you are listening to the music on a good speaker set, and not headphones.
