  1. Great Over-all camera

I am a college student and I have a historically bad record with the longevity of cameras. This camera has been able to withstand football games, parties and other activities, which with the way I handle it is truly amazing. The picture quality is great, and, as mentioned above you can adjust the amount of pixels you want to shoot with. I never change the amount because I like to have the luxury to zoom in, but at least you have the option. I highly recommend this camera to anyone shopping for a compact with zoom lense.

  2. Adjustment!

One of the best digital cameras I’ve ever owned. A lot of thinkg about this camera not mentioned like battery life is great!

As for the megapixles you can adjust them in the camera, I think it goes 13.6, 8, 6, 4, 2… ore something along those lines. If you could get a V8 engine for the price of a V6 engine and that engine could adjust to use as much fuel (memory) as a motorcycle(600CC?). Why in the world would you complain about it?

Pros: 1) Excellent Images 2)Very Portable 3)Creative and efficient NEW features 4)Little Maintenance 5) User friendly

Cons: Only Con I have seen is it heats up a little after being on for a while.

Summary: SONY has done it with this camera. I have been a Canon buyer for years and a Nikon for even longer. But as of this camera’s purchase I am converted. The camera packs power for every dollar you spend and takes the term Megapixels to a whole new standard. I am not sure what the reviewer above is complaining about megapixel sizes. This camera gives what you pay for and more! It allows you to take photos of different shots and I absolutely fell in love with the sequence photography feature it allows you to do. I would highly recommend this camera.

  4. I Don't Know...

The jury is still out on this one. While affordable for all the megapixel you get in this compact shooter, I just don’t know if I need all this pixels. The bigger problem is storing all these photos…and it’s a pain to have to keep on resizing photos just so you can email or send them to friends and family (most email services have size limits on attachments). So while the quality is not bad. Do we really need it when my 2.0 megapixel camera handles the job just as well?

Save for my G9 (I own also) full featured options, image is nearly as good (well, not that near) Great portability and ease of use. I compare it with a Leica C-Lux2, and is a clear winner. My advice: buy one yourself ( I AM NOT A SONY EMPLOYEE..!)
