I’ve paired mine with my HTC Touch HD, a painless process that worked first time. Sound quality is perfectly acceptable. They are not as good as my other headphones (£140 Sennheiser PC/Gaming set with USB soundcard) but apart from a slight lack of control in the mid treble range (snare drum can sound a bit harsh) they really do a good job.

Yes there is a static hiss in the background between tracks, which does sound a bit “Analog” but it isn’t very loud at all.

More good news is that the mic works well for phone calls at least with a quiet background and all the controls work with WinMo6.1 and media player.

For the price, I don’t see how you can go far wrong with these. I’m sure there will be better iterations in the future but if you need/want some BT ‘phones now, I would strongly recommend them.

  2. Static noise in the backgroud, but overall good

It has a bit of static and it is irritating sometimes because even if the music stops, the noise is still there in the back-ground, otherwise overall good design and sound quality.

    Pros:

    - Works with Mac OSX Leopard

    - Controls work with iTunes! (Prev / next / volume)

    - Good sound quality

    Cons:

    - Touchy transmissions. Tilt your head a little in the wrong direction, put your hand between the computer and the headphones, lie down, etc etc, and you will experience the equivalent of tapping your hand heavily / repeatedly on a portable cd player.. while trying to listen to it.

    - Even when sitting 2-3 feet from the computer, just listening to iTunes, you will sometimes hear scratchy static from time to time. :(

    - Low treble. Had to tweak my equalizer to compensate (something I haven’t had to do before)

    7/10 when it isn’t scratchy. :(

Testing performed on a 2.16Ghz Macbook Pro running Mac OSX Leopard 10.5, sitting on a “mStand” laptop stand, on my glass desk 2 feet in front of my face.
