I purchased my unit from Fry’s about 6 months ago. After spending so much time titling I was disapointed when the unit just kept spinning around. I had to power it off to reset it numerous times. Now the unit will only light up then it powers off. It would be an ok product if it would just work!

Horrible user interface…it looks like it was done in the 60’s and was not upgraded. It will lose all disc information (which you must type in manually, for about 80-90% of your collection) if you remove the disc or if you lose power. It won’t play several DVDs, giving ‘unable to read disc’ error, and it will power itself off when trying to read/play some movies. A pretty pathetic product, which I didn’t expect from Sony. They didn’t do their job with this one, and it shouldn’t have been released. If you have one, document a problem and return it for a refund before your warranty expires.
