No doubt this thing is a beast! Being a college student I don’t want to have to lug this thing around, but that is its only drawback. It definitely has a clear and you can’t beat the price (I got mine for $9 at a thrift store).

Hefty lil bugger! But Great Moniter. Sony really builds sturdy crts.. Mine took a fall off the desk. It hit the floor and made some pictures fall of the wall. *damage done… well lets just say just a case crack* still works and i got mine for 20$ Bucks.

Just bought this monitor off a coworker. I work at an engineering firm and have it set up as a secondary monitor for the day until I take it home tonight. It kicks butt! It is SO much clearer than the round CRT I have normally here. It’s really a nice monitor. Yes, heavy, but very clear picture.

I have had this monitor for four years and it has servered me well, never had a problem with it, it has lasted me through my last 3 computers. I use it mostly for gaming. I am currently considering upgrading to a bigger flat panel. Don’t plan on taking this bad boy to LAN parties or sit it on a flimsy table, it weighs a ton.
