Gigapocket works well for watching tv or recording Analog video. It is a mild anoyance to convert the files from Sony’s proprietary format, but it is worse when dealing with MS’s Media Center.

Clickt to DVD works great for burning video to DVD. Easy to use, though after a bit you want a bit more editing options.

I should comment that there is no Macafee software and before adding stuff it is a pretty quick boot. The only other duplication is Office trial with Works, and Photoshop Album and Sony Picturegear. The Office trial and Photoshop Album were probably a bundle deal from thier respective vendors .
