I bought this TV in hopes of having one of the best pictures available. At first I had the HD DVD player, and was like, that’s definitely clearer than standard cable. Then I saw the potential if I had a Blu-Ray! So after finally deciding to purchase a Blu-Ray (after doing away with HD DVD), I did. What a disappointment. I upgraded to the best HDMI plugs, calibrated my TV and now am stuck with a mediocre TV. I will never buy another Toshiba anything….THEY FLAT OUT LIED. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Zero stars from me!

Not a true 1080p. It’s only a 1080i, Toshiba lied. Very disappointed…
