So disappointed with performance

I bought this computer and I HATE it. It’s really slow and freezes a lot. I navigate and work online a lot and it truly slows me down. I am currently traveling, but when I get home I will go back to the store to try to agree on a replacement. You will be most satisfied with a Dell or a Macintosh.

Very unhappy with my A215; it boots up very slow and is loaded with junk software. My boot time after a clean install 2:35 and with all the junk off I get 1:40. I also had the plastic which holds the LCD in replaced and I also had the keyboard replaced. I called Toshiba about my boot time and they said I had to send it in. They were no help and I called guest relations and they convinced me to send it in. Overall the technical support was very bad. I probably have a bad hard drive and also my ram could be bad and the fans stopped working so I final just send it in and I am trying to work out a replacement deal. If you plan on getting a reliable computer get a Lenovo or a dell. I compared my boot time to a cheap $400 Compaq with slower parts and that booted up in 34 seconds so do not buy an A215.

The A215 I have is 10 days old; overall I am satisfied if not happy with the laptop. The look and feel of laptop is good, except for its weight. The cons are its slow response, little insensitive touchpad and weight. It crashed 3-4 times don’t know the reason although, I had to do a hard boot. I have not played any high end games hence can’t comment on that part….In brief I would recommend this laptop for its good value for money.
