  1. We use it every day and we are happy

Caught this on special on a Target clearance shelf for $22.95. We have a 150ft x 175ft size lot and a 2800sqft ranch with basement. The base unit is in the kitchen and the phones work everywhere in the house and at every corner of the yard.

True there is a little static at the remotest ends of the yard, but a few steps towards the house corrects that quickly. The only real short coming we have is battery life. It seems to be good for about 2.5 hours of constant talking (wife & Kids) before needing a recharge. If you misplace it for over 36 hours the phone battery, in standby, dies and unit pager option is useless.

Other than those two issues it’s a great phone.

I have both the answering base and the extended base with vonage. The phones work great in the house. I would expect a little better range before the static begins. I can walk around the house but when I go outside I can hear static. My house is 1700 sq ft single level to give you and idea.

This phone is terrible. I would be better off with two tin cans and some string. The range is poor at best, and the noise and static is so loud that you can’t hear the person that you are talking to.
Save your money and invest a few dollars more for different brand.

  4. I can shout farther...

Quite simply, I can shout farther than this phone has range. Direct line of sight is 75 to (possibly) 80 feet. It is going back to the store. Pathetic.
