I have had Voice Pulse for almost a year now. I pay less than $16 a month...TOTAL. It comes with way more features than I have the time to take advantage of. Of course, when the internet is down, my phone is down (time for the cell phone). Also, there have been a few times when I had to unplug the "black box" and plug it in again to get rid of bad connections. If you can live with those downsides...you can save big bucks.

Their sales staff will deny any missing voicemail, of course. But their tech staff knows all about it and readily acknowledges it in both e-mail and voice conversations. It is a systemic problem that's existed for close to a year (at least). They have no solution.

My guess as to the cause, is their now antiquated software. In over two years with VP they've not made a single feature upgrade or UI mod. That suggests the original developers are no longer active on the project, and are not available to support engineering changes.

VP has one great feature: filters. I use VP solely to route voice traffic using filters, not for voice.

I have had VoicePulse for over a year, and I would NEVER be without it. The features that VoicePulse has far exceed anything ANY other company can give you. Their prices bear all of the others.Give VoicePulse a try ... you will NOT be disappointed.

I Love the service and the price! Very easy to hook up .. took me all of 2 1/2 minutes out of the box. The 911 (not available yet, but I believe will be soon) is a non issue for me as I have a Cheap Pre-Paid cell phone in the car and at the house I could use for emergencies. You could still call a Police station or Firehouse directly if you wanted to with the VoicePulse VOIP. Also I have my cable modem.router.voicepulse box hooked into a non-interuptable power supply, so if the power goes out for a short time, I still have telephone service. Great features and excellent web access are icing on the cake!!

I get better voice quality than on my analog line with Voicepulse. The account web features are very basic and easy to use. Very simple interface. The only reason I do not give them a 10 is lack of e911 service. I like the fact that calls to HI, AK, Puerto Rico and VI are not considered international and are included in the plan minutes. I run this over comcast cable with a linksys router with QOS enabled on the port for the SIP. This ensures a higher priority over any other web traffic on my home network. I have had several people on doing media streaming, games, etc. and the voice quality was awesome with no disconnects.

OK,
I only have 1 main thought/complaint.
Its not available to EVEYONE.
If you cant get highspeed access, you cant have it.

ANd you dont want NOT to need the internet for other things besides a phone line. As you NEED highspeed internet service to use this.

While many other VoIP providers try to catch up on features, VoicePulse keeps adding to them. Coupled with features that *really* work and reliability, I wouldn't even consider looking elsewhere, or trying anyone else.

After 5 months of service, I am a very satisfied VoicePulse Customer and look forward to their VideoPhone service.
