Samsung’s latest addition to their Galaxy line of mobile products is the Note and it lies somewhere in between a giant phone and a tiny tablet. Nominally, it’s a smartphone. The screen is a 5.3 inch HD super AMOLED display. Plus, it’s 4G with variants for HSPA+ and LTE. This screen is the biggest of any smartphone on the market.
Lets look at the guts of this thing. The Note is run by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and comes with 1 GB of RAM and either 16 GB or 32 GB of built-in storage. At the moment the Note is supposed to come with Android 2.3. However, due to the Apple-Samsung lawsuit that will most likely change but we’ll have to wait to see what happens. Also, there is an 8 MP camera on the rear and a 2 MP camera one on the front of the phone.
One interesting feature is the included Samsung digital S pen for writing on the phone. It reminds us of old-school PDAs.
