So far I think it sounds amazing. I love that you can directly connect an iPod to it and in addition to that, Zone 1 and 2 can both access and use the iPod independently. Zone 2 and 3 have to be configured in mono which is pretty dumb IMO. Internet radio works as advertised and the receiver sounds great for watching movies.

I have had a Denon cd player for several years. It frequently will not open the disc drawer. If you turn it on and off about 30 times it will sometimes open and close.Pros: plays one disc every once in a whileCons: jams, doesn’t play

When you buy Denon, you’re buying quality. And, no I am
not connected with Denon, I’m not a seller, and I’m not being compensated in any way to say this.

One note… DO NOT SCRIMP ON AUDIO CABLES!!! Toss out the one that comes with the unit and replace it with one that is shielded with 24k gold plugs. If your an audiophile like me, you will hear the difference. Also, you’ll have the assurance that the connections will not start corroding in a few years.Pros: Excellent audio quality from either HDCDs, standard audio CDs, or MP3 CDs. Sturdy construction.Cons: Only “Standard” audio cable provided.
