Hillcrest Labs Loop Pointer Review

You missed the mark on passing on the Loop’s form factor. I got a pitch from them at a tradeshow, and the whole point is that the remote control is actually an uncomfortable form factor. To point an IR remote to the TV, you stress the whole upper part of your hand. It should be more natural. The reason a gun has a handle is because the hand naturally wants to be like that. The Loop mimics this natural hand stance and is far less stressed. Think about this next time you point your remote. Your hand does not do this naturally and in fact if you had to do it a lot, it’s uncomfortable. So watch the same channel if you’re going to use that rectangular format you want.
