In my opinion It is a good thing Google does not allow under-18 to subscribe to the service.
Let the children stay on their own social sites and let Google+ be for the grown-ups only please!

My theory is that women multi-task and tend to social network while doing other things. Men tend to focus on one task at a time and, therefore, were the first to respond to the limited invitations when Google+ rolled out.

20mill+ on board already in pre launch bare bones beta. That's impressive. They haven't even officially launched, or cross marketed on their existing web properties yet.

Tech media has been the source of g+ hype so far, so its not rocket science that the tech nerds have flocked early. Women, teens, business will arrive soon. Expect some heavy hitting aces served by Google every week in the form of new g+ features, apps and addons. It will be unstoppable.
