Funnyman and Twitter user Steve Martin has decided to publish a book of his tweets.

Whether anyone wants to buy a book of tweets that can be easily viewed online is another matter, but the good news is that profits from any sales will be going to charity.

Martin announced his intention to compile a book of his tweets in, not surprisingly, a tweet.

“Due to absolutely no demand, soon I’m publishing a book of my tweets. Many of your replies included! All my profits to charity,” he tweeted on Friday

The actor, writer, comedian and musician currently has over 1.7 million followers. Tweets this month have included: “A baseball is zooming toward my head. Barely time to tweet this. What do I do?” and “Loving working with Owen Wilson, Jack Black for The Big Year. Odd. They whisper, then, when they see me, they act like they weren’t. WEIRD” Whether these will be included in the book, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Grand Central Publishing, which is working with Martin on the publication, told Reuters that the book will be called The Ten, Make That Nine Habits, of Very Organized People. Make That Ten. It’s due for a summer release.

The 66-year-old has written a number of books in recent years, including The Object of Beauty, which came out last year and made the New York Times bestseller list.

If Steve Martin’s forthcoming book of tweets is a hit with the public, we’ll probably see the floodgates open as other high-profile tweeters clamor to get their tweets into print. But could you see yourself buying such a book?

Twitter is building two new ways to handle tweet replies
A person's hands holding a smartphone as they browse Twitter on it.

Replies on the bird app could be getting a makeover, as Twitter is apparently working on two new features that could shape how we respond to tweets.

On Wednesday, Jane Manchun Wong posted screenshots of two different reply-related features that Twitter is building. The first of Wong's tweets featured a screenshot that showed off an option to "Start a Space about this Tweet." And the second tweet Wong shared had a screenshot of a new "Pin Reply" feature.
