Holiday Preview: Cell Phone Buying Guide

Remember the good old days when you used a cell phone to call someone? Amusingly, talking seems to be among the least of the new features touted by 21st century handsets, as evidenced by the following gee-whiz models.

Aperion INTIMUS 5.1 Speaker System Review

Designtechnica reviews the Aperion Audio INTIMUS 5.1 Speaker System:

“The looks, performance and price of the INTIMUS 5.1 home theater system should make this a very attractive option for many home audio enthusiasts. It can stand up to the sound and power of many more expensive systems and won’t break the bank in doing so.

The well engineered system and quality components provide outstanding sound quality. For an installation where bookshelf speakers are desired or towers simply won’t fit, the INTIMUS 5.1 system should definitely be considered.

Paradigm intros reference studio series v.3

Building on the previous Studio Series, this third-generation features a host of technological advances and design refinements. The Studio Series is available in three new Premium Laminate finishes, Cherry, Sycamore and Black Ash.

Each Studio Series v.3 loudspeaker features proprietary IMS/SHOCK-MOUNT, a unique butyl-rubber shock-mount isolation mounting system (IMS) that decouples drivers from the speaker enclosure, reducing driver/enclosure resonances and vibrations to inaudible levels.
