Just when you thought video game franchises couldn’t get any sillier…they get sillier. And sometimes silly exactly what makes a game fun. The Lego Group is teaming up with MTV’s Harmonix along with Warner Bros. Interactive and TT Games to create Lego Rock Band, a new family-friendly rhythm game that combines the awesomeness of everyone’s favorite multi-purpose plastic bricks with the sheer power of rock and roll…or something. The title will be available for a broad gamut of gaming systems—including the Xbox 360, playStation 3, and Wii, along with a version for the Nintendo DS—and should ship just in time for the end-of-year holiday buying season.
