DVD-RAM is the most versatile recording format available to DVDs and can adapt to -RW for playback on older units. Its non-contact optical pick-up ensures that each disc is scratch-free for repeated use. It also allows for a mixed storage of video, audio, and other types of data from both the PC and AV worlds.
