Nations Named ‘Enemies of the Internet’

As part of its 24-hour online demonstration against online censorship, international watchdog organization Reporters Without Borders has released a list of 13 nations it dubs “enemies of the Internet” for restricting speech and suppressing freedom of expression on the Internet. And the organization is also inviting visitors to sound off to Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang regarding the company’s involvement in the Chinese Internet market.

T-Mobile To Carry Sony T630 Camera Phone

A fashionable black version of the stylish phone will be sold for a limited period exclusively through T-Mobile in its European markets (Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, and Poland).

The triple-band GSM/GPRS phone features a built-in camera, bright 65K TFT colour screen, t-zones soft key and a new sleek T-Mobile branded design. It is ideally suited for accessing and using T-Mobile’s t-zones multimedia services.

The T630 also features QuickShare™, an easy to use imaging concept that will be integral to all new camera phones from Sony Ericsson. T-Mobile customers can take pictures with only two clicks, as well as easily and intuitively share pictures between the phone, PC and other consumer devices – either via MMS or e-mail, or locally over Bluetooth, Infrared or cable.

“We believe the T630 will provide a very enjoyable t-zones experience for our customers”, says David Hytha, Executive Vice President, International Terminal Management at T-Mobile. “It is a very attractive handset and includes plenty of fun-to-use features to take advantage of our data service offerings.”

“We are pleased to be able to offer this stylish phone together with T-Mobile as their mobile services add tremendous value for the users of our phones”, says Luc Van Huystee, Vice President, T-Mobile Global Customer Unit of Sony Ericsson.

The popular racing game, V-Rally2, comes pre-loaded in the T630, providing a great gaming experience through the excellent graphics, 32-tone polyphonic sound, force feedback and joystick control. The T630 supports both Java and Mophun platforms which give access to a multitude of fun games which are available for download from the t-games section within T-Mobile’s t-zones as well as the Fun & Downloads-section of Sony Ericsson’s web site.

The T630 also satisfies consumers’ desire for mobile music. It features the innovative Music DJ function, a 4-track sequencer with which bass lines, drumbeats and chords can be mixed in just a few seconds into original ring signals.
