Fujifilm Announces Five Stylish Cameras

Fujifilm has taken the wraps off five new digital cameras, ranging from entry level FinePix snappers and the 7.2 megapixel style-oriented FinePix Z10fd to the 8 megapixel FinePix S8000fd superzoom and the 12 megapixel F50fd.

Fuji FinePix Camera Gets Face Detection

Fuji has unveiled two new digital cameras in its consumer-oriented FinePix line with Real Photo Technology: the FinePix F20 which debuts as a sister camera to the company’s well-regarded FinePix F30, and the FinePix S6000fd, a 6.3 megapixel shooter with new face detection technology designed to improve shots and create better “people pictures.”

The FinePix F20 offers a compact point–and-shoot format designed to be affordable and convenient without compromising (much) on image quality. The F20 offers a 6.3 megapixel resolution and ISO 100-2000 sensitivity (up to 1600 in Auto and Manual mode); combined with Fuji’s Real Photo Technology, the F20 is capable of delivering high ISO at the camera’s full resolution. The camera also features Fuji’s iFlash intelligent flas system which sets power output and exposure for better-balanced results, and a dual-shot feature takes two rapid-fire pictures

Fujifilm Showcases New FinePix Camera

Fujifilm today unveiled the successor to its FinePix Z1 slim digital cameras. The new FinePix Z3 is set to debut in July for a price of $279.95.

CES 2006 Profile: Fujifilm

Fujifilm was showcasing several new digital cameras at CES 2006 early this month in Las Vegas. These new models include the six megapixel FinePix F470, two entry level FinePix A-Series models and the ultra compact FinePix V10.

The FinePix F470 is no bigger than a deck of playing cards and sports a six megapixel CCD sensor. When this $279 model becomes available in March, it will sport features which include a new digital signal processor, Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens, 10 scene modes, 16MB of internal memory, manual gain-up control and a 2.5” color LCD screen.

Fujifilm Offers Up Nine Megapixel Cameras

Consumer digital camera users should get ready for some serious megapixel push as Fujifilm announced yesterday they were getting ready to release the first nine megapixel cameras to the consumer market. These new models, the FinePix S9000 and FinePix E900, will join the five megapixel FinePix S5200 in venturing to store shelves this fall.

Debuting in early September for $699.95, The FinePix S9000’s feature list looks to be pretty impressive. Besides the nine megapixel high resolution sensor, it will also offer a 10.7x optical zoom with a 28mm-300 wide angle equivalency for wider scenes, high level noise filtering at high ISO settings at full resolution, tilting LCD screen, RAW file format shooting, dual media slots and 30 frames per second VGA resolution filming.

Fujifilm Unveils Fast, New FinePix F10

Real Photo Technology, the latest imaging innovation from Fujifilm, is a synergy of three key devices: a sharp Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens, Fujifilm’s 5th generation Super CCD sensor and the newlydeveloped RP Processor, which possesses all of the advance signal-processing know-how of the professional FinePix S3 Pro digital SLR camera. With Real Photo Technology users of the FinePix F10 cancapture beautiful digital images with very little noise at ISO settings all the way up to 1600 at full resolution.

The FinePix F10 will be available in April 2005 with an M.S.R.P. of $499.95.

Fujifilm Introduces Five New Cameras

The company’s robust line ranges from point-and-shoot simplicity in its A-series to streamlined style in its F-series, and includes a traditional 35mm-style body with a wide range of shootingfeatures for photo enthusiasts in its S-series. Today’s additions include three cameras in a new fourth category, the highly versatile E-series, as well as replacements for two popular S-seriesmodels.
