T-Mobile has said that no server hack and data loss has occurred. Someone claiming to have breached the company’s security posted part of a document on Full Disclosure and was reportedly offering information for sale. T-Mobile says the information posted seems to have come from a stolen document instead. In a statement, the company told USA Today:
"Regarding the recent claim on a Web site, we’ve identified the document from which information was copied, and believe possession of this alone is not enough to cause harm to our customers."
