iSkin Keyboard Covers Satisfy Germaphobes

iSkin Keyboard Covers Satisfy Germaphobes

With iSkin already offering a line of protective gadget covers for those who can’t be bothered to wash their hands before manhandling their MacBooks with orange Cheez Doodle fingers, it only makes sense that the next step was a cover that kept germs at bay as well. The company announced on Friday that its ProTouch keyboard covers now come with Microban, a protective material that prevents microbes from spreading.

The germaphobe-friendly material is already used in hundreds of other heavily handled consumer products, from can openers to lunchboxes. It works by disrupting the cell functions of bacteria, fungus, algae and other microbes, preventing them from spreading.

iSkin’s Got Your nanos Covered

iSkin

iSkin may have a confusing, populous lineup of cases for various models of iPods, iPod nanos, PSPs, and even MacBook notebooks, but the advantage is that if you’re looking for a protective case, they probably have what you need.

Todayl iSkin took the wraps off its Duo for iPod nano (Aluminum) offering owners of second generation iPod nanos fashionable protection from scratches and the elements. Available in five colors (white, black, blue, red, and green), the Duo cases add just 1.65mm of thickness to the already svelte iPod nano, combining a clear “VISOR” inner silicon layer protects the iPod against moiture, shocks, and dust, while a power-coated ouer layer echoes the metallic look of the iPod nano and provides color options while protecting against screen damage.

iSkin Brings Claro to iPods

iSkin Brings Claro to iPods

iSkin has launched its new Claro, a hard, clear polycarbonate case for Apple’s 30 GB fifth-generation video-capable iPods. The Claros combines a soft inner silicon layer to cushion and proect the iPod, while a hard polycarbonate outer layer keeps out dust and moisture while protecting the unit from impacts and those much-dreaded scratches.

The iSkin Claro offers a combined belt-clip and kickstand, combining portability with hands-free viewing and listening, and accommodates the iPod’s dock connector. iSkin is also offering separate “Claro slims” in packs of three colors: the Chill Pack will feature Ebony (black), Ghost (glow-in-the-dark white to blue) and Sonic (blue); the Cruise pack will feature Blush (pink), Blaze (red), and Prince (purple, of course) inserts.

iSkin eVo 3 Silicone Skins Fit Video iPods

iSkin has announced the availability of its iSkin eVo3 protectors for Apple’s fifth-generation video-capable iPods, and if there’s one word iSkin wants you to associate with the eVo3, it’s “seamless.”.

Made from high-grade silicone, the sleek eVo3 cases protect iPods from scratches, bumps, and (to an extent) moisture, offer a clear scratch-resistant face and screen protector, shock-absorbing capabilities, and micro-textured surfaces which makes the case easier to grip than a notoriously-slippery bare iPod.

The eVo3 cases come with a removable rotary belt clip, and features heat-releasing “pores” on the back to help the iPod cool in video mode or when being used as a portable hard drive.

iSkin Duos Offer Colorful nano Protection

iPod accessory maker iSkin has announced the immediate availability of four new color combinations of new iSkin duo protector for Apple’s popular iPod nano music player.

The $29.99 iSkin duo protectors feature a form-fitting, dual layer shock-resistant silicon skin with a clear screen protector (to fend off those nasty scratches!), a transparent wheel protector, a removable rotary belt clip, a no-slip surface with “goose bumps” on the side for better grip, and an eight-point inner layer shock absorber system for protection against drops and bumps.

The new two tone color combinations are available today via the iSkin Web site and soon from retailers:

iSkin Duo Gives Double Protection for nano

iSkin, a maker of protective iPod accessories, today announced the iSkin Duo for the iPod nano. This double layered skin for the thin Apple MP3 player is available now for $29.99.

The iSkin Duo, the company said, offers a double layer, shock resistant silicone skin that is scratch resistant and guards the nano against bumps, dirt and other undesired elements by completely enclosing the player. The skin allows for full use of the player’s controls, with a transparent wheel protector allowing scrolling action to occur while completely covering the scroll wheel.
