Acer Brings Timeline Notebooks to U.S., Plans Android Netbooks

Acer America has announced that the company’s Timeline series of notebooks, featuring “all day” computing thanks to an average of more than 8 hours use on a single battery charge—ideal for serious mobile users and travelers.

“Acer has introduced yet another game changer in the world of notebook PCs,” said Acer America’s VP for product marketing Sumit Agnihotry, in a statement. “The Timeline sets new standards in both value and battery life, which are sure to be well received in this economy by on-the-go, yet always connected consumers.”

Acer Announces Red Ferrari 3200 Notebook

The flawlessly designed Ferrari 3200 instills exceptional performance, brilliant graphics, and lightning-fast connectivity, creating a striking symbol of the cooperation between Acer and Ferrari.  Acer became an official supplier of IT products to Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro in February 2003. 

The Ferrari 3200 signals the coming of a new age – one where a productivity tool demonstrates flair and panache.  Coated in Ferrari red and sporting the coveted Prancing Horse emblem, the Ferrari 3200 is the next generation of the Ferrari 3000 notebook, and exhibits further refinement in aesthetic design and system performance, boosting its appeal to image conscious buyers.

Acer releases new entertainment PC’s

The new Aspire RC900 and RC500 bring an abundance of new features including a Super Dial and remote control to enhance user experience and enjoyment during the entertainment mode.  A fresh newdesign with sharp lines against a black and metallic color scheme creates a simple yet sophisticated appearance.  The Aspire RC900 and RC500 combine work and leisure needs all in one.

A choice of five entertainment modes is available for your amusement ¾ video, TV, picture, music, and FM radio.  And for convenient access between the modes users can navigate via a range of controls ¾ by turning the Super Dial, or by pressing the remote control, keyboard hotkeys, or the handy media buttons located on top of the PCs.
