Samsung SGH-t719 Now Available

Featuring BlackBerry Connect, the Samsung SGH-t719 enables users to communicate to each other using BlackBerry services like push-based wireless e-mail and attachment viewing. And because the Samsung SGH-t719 comes with a QWERTY-like keyboard, messaging should be relatively simple.

Additional features include wireless calendar synchronization, remote address lookup and security with Triple DES Encryption. On the hardware side, the t719 comes with Bluetooth, a swivel-style 1.3 megapixel camera with video capture, instant messaging support. The Samsung t719 is available through T-Mobile for $199 after rebates and with a service plan.

Sony Ericsson Showcases 7th Walkman Phone

Sony Ericsson yesterday introduced another Walkman phone which brings the total number of handsets in this growing family to seven. The W300 Walkman phone will be available globally in white and black color choices in the second quarter of this year.

The W300 Walkman phone, said Sony Ericsson, is a quad band EDGE model (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) which supports both MP3 and AAC music file playback. The PM-8920 is manufactured by Audiovox and is available in Sprint Stores nationwide for$149.99 after rebates (SRP: $299.99).

Sprint was the first to deliver a built-in camera phone to the U.S. market and spurred growth in the wireless imaging market with the launch of an affordable camera phone, easy-to-use service and simple pricing last year. From August 2002 to March 2004, more than 100 million pictures and videos were shared over the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network.

T-Mobile To Carry Sony T630 Camera Phone

A fashionable black version of the stylish phone will be sold for a limited period exclusively through T-Mobile in its European markets (Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, and Poland).

The triple-band GSM/GPRS phone features a built-in camera, bright 65K TFT colour screen, t-zones soft key and a new sleek T-Mobile branded design. It is ideally suited for accessing and using T-Mobile’s t-zones multimedia services.

The T630 also features QuickShare™, an easy to use imaging concept that will be integral to all new camera phones from Sony Ericsson. T-Mobile customers can take pictures with only two clicks, as well as easily and intuitively share pictures between the phone, PC and other consumer devices – either via MMS or e-mail, or locally over Bluetooth, Infrared or cable.

“We believe the T630 will provide a very enjoyable t-zones experience for our customers”, says David Hytha, Executive Vice President, International Terminal Management at T-Mobile. “It is a very attractive handset and includes plenty of fun-to-use features to take advantage of our data service offerings.”

The popular racing game, V-Rally2, comes pre-loaded in the T630, providing a great gaming experience through the excellent graphics, 32-tone polyphonic sound, force feedback and joystick control. The T630 supports both Java and Mophun platforms which give access to a multitude of fun games which are available for download from the t-games section within T-Mobile’s t-zones as well as the Fun & Downloads-section of Sony Ericsson’s web site.

The T630 also satisfies consumers’ desire for mobile music. It features the innovative Music DJ function, a 4-track sequencer with which bass lines, drumbeats and chords can be mixed in just a few seconds into original ring signals.

Putting an end to phones having a front and a back, the T630 has two sides. One for the camera with a mirror to aid self-portraiture, the other for telephony, featuring easy access to communications, imaging and gaming. Its in-built camera, bright 65K TFT colour screen, fun-to-use features and sleek design are set to make the T630 a bestseller.

First introduced in the T610, QuickShareâ„¢ has won consumer praise for being the smartest way for mobile imaging on the market. Hitachi G1000 now in stores

The Hitachi G1000 combines the functionality of a Pocket PC with the advanced wireless data applications delivered by the faster data speeds of the Enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network. It is nowexclusively available nationwide to Sprint customers for a suggested retail price of $649.99.
