Armstrong Twitters For Stolen Bike

Armstrong Twitters For Stolen Bike

Lance Armstrong is probably the best-known name in cycling, the seven-time Tour de France winner who’s also beaten cancer. In other words, he has a lot of fans.

That will be a big help, since he’s enlisting some of them to help find his stolen time trial bike. On discovering the theft while taking part in the Tour of California, he messaged his 112,000 followers on micro-blogging service Twitter to help find it. Initially he said:

"Someone stole my time trial bike! Wtf?!? APB out to the twitterati."

How-To: Make Your Own Holiday Cards

Whether you’re ready for it or not, the holiday season is upon us. It’s time to think about buying gifts, prepping for travel and psyching yourself up for a crash diet before the big holiday binge. It’s also time to think about sending holiday greeting cards to your loved ones, family, friends, co-workers, clients and acquaintances. Sending holiday cards can either be a half-hearted chore that barely expresses how you feel, or it can be a true art-form; a fun project that expresses your thoughts and feelings toward those that impact your life in a positive way. Here are a few websites (and a couple physical stores) that will help you design a card perfectly suited to your way of life. Happy holidays!

iriver Takes T10 to 2GB

iriver has revved up its T10 portable media player: the diminutive units now sport a 2 GB memory capacity, and now offer direct support for spoken word content from Audible.com—and also ship with and offer for a free selected Audible.com book download.

The iriver T10 is a PlaysForSure-compatible flash-based digital media player offering up to 45 hours of music playback time on a single AA battery. The T10 supports music subscription services like Napster and Rhapsody, offers an integrated FM tuner and recorder, a voice recording function, and an integrated color display. The T10 works with MP3, WMA, and Ogg Vorbis audio files (and now with material from Audible.com, but, alas, does not work with AAC or protected content from Apple’s iTunes Music Store), and supports USB 2.0 for transfer to and from Windows XP PCs.
