Lexmark Unveils Wi-Fi All-In-One Printers

Lexmark wants users to snip the USB cables tethering them to their printers with its new line of Wi-Fi enabled all-in-one machines, announced on Tuesday. The Lexmark x6570, x7550, and x4850 allow users to print, scan, fax and access media cards all through a conventional Wi-Fi connection.

All of the new printers feature automatic two-sided printing and the ability to use Lexmark’s evercolor2 inks, which the company claims will last 100 years when used on their proprietary PerfectFinish paper.

Lexmark Unveils New SOHO All-in-One Printer

Printing and imaging solutions company Lexmark International today introduced an under $200 all-in-one solution for home and small business owners. The new X8350 Office-All-in-One Plus Photo will be available in January for $199.

The X8350, according to Lexmark, is the first device in its class to combine a 2.4- inch color LCD and photo card slots, offering photo capabilities along with the ability to print, scan, copy and fax, as well as manage and share color documents and photos.  Read more...

New Lexmark Printer Also Burns Photo CDs

Lexmark, a manufacturer of printing and imaging solutions, today unveiled what they are saying is the industry’s first inkjet photo printer with a built-in CD burner. The new P450 is projected for release in October with a street price of $199.

The P450, Lexmark said, prints up to 4×6 borderless photos and features a 2.4” flip up color screen for photo preview and selection. The printer’s built-in CD burner can be used to save digital photos to a CD without the need for a computer. Photos can be transferred from a variety of sources such as a USB flash drive, a digital camera which supports PictBridge, a variety of memory cards and wireless Bluetooth from a cell phone when equipped with an optional adapter.  Read more...
