Not content to download episodes from iTunes? Television network ABC has announced it’s preparing to launch the Lost Experience, an interactive online game based on its hit television series Lost. Scheduled to go online May 2 in the U.K., May 3 in the U.S., and May 6 in Australia, the Internet-based game will feature puzzles and a parallel plot of events independent from the television show, while offering hints and clues which may reveal secrets of the castaways’ island.

New Data Shows Firefox Slowly Gaining Fame
While Bill Gates may not be losing much sleep over this at this point, his software giant continues to slowly slide in the browser wars, according to the latest data from web traffic monitoring firm NetApplications. Their latest numbers for May 2005 browser share reveal that Microsoft’s Internet Explorer gave more ground to open source rival Firefox.
FireFox reached 8% during the month of May, up from 7.38% in April. Microsoft’s base meanwhile dipped to 87.23% in May, down .77% from April of 2005. Apple’s Safari browser also gained a modest tenth of a percentage, posting 1.91% in May 2005. Most other browsers experienced little change during the same time period.

MTV: Music Television and Microsoft have announced a global marketing alliance to unveil the next-generation Xbox video game system on MTV channels in the United States, Asia Pacific and Europe, allwithin a 24-hour window — a first for the video game industry. Gateway Shoots Back At HP in Patent Feud
The filing is the latest shot in a legal tussle that began in March, when Hewlett-Packard Co., of Palo Alto, Calif., filed suit against Gateway Inc., claiming that the PC maker was refusing to pay licensing fees on six designs patented by HP. The patents covered such features as laptop hinges, cursors and a keyboard that requires a password.
Gateway, of Poway, Calif., sued HP in May over five patents related to multimedia features. Now, both companies also have asked the ITC to get involved. HP filed a similar claim in May, asking that Gateway be banned from importing computers and components that allegedly violate seven of HP’s patents.
Albatron To Sell Geforce 6800 In Early May
“Retail graphics cards based on the GeForce 6800 models are slated for release in the next 45 days†– sometime in late May or early June, according to NVIDIA’s official statement released on the 14th of May.
Albatron’s spokesman reportedly officially told that the company’s latest graphics cards, the GeForce 6800 and the GeForce 6800UV, will hit the shelves in Taiwan in early May, a lot earlier than NVIDIA said on the launch day of its NV40 graphics processor.
