Canon today unveiled three new digital Elph cameras which the company says maintains “the petite profile that has characterized the line since its inception while adding big new featuresâ€. These new models are the PowerShot SD700 IS (April – $499.99), PowerShot SD630 (April – $399.99) and PowerShot SD600 (March – $349.99).
All three models, said Canon, sport a newly designed six-megapixel image sensor. The PowerShot SD700 IS includes features such as image stabilization, a f/2.8-5.5 4x optical zoom lens and a 2.5†LCD screen. The PowerShot SD630 offers up a retractable 3x optical zoom, 3†wide-viewing angle LCD screen with adjustments for 15 levels of brightness and a touch control dial to scroll through captured images or menu settings. The PowerShot SD600 also has a retractable 3x optical zoom and 2.5†LCD screen with 15 adjustments for brightness.
