AOL today launched a new Web site aimed at preschoolers aged 2-5 which is modeled after a similar service for kids aged 7-12. KOL Jr. is designed to encourage parents and young children to surf together by offering original cartoons, games and more.
KOL Jr., said AOL, is an extension of KOL, the first version of an online service designed entirely for kids. Features of this preschooler focused Web site include animal videos, educational games, music from popular characters such as the Wiggles and Barney, kid-friendly movies and DVD clips, the ability to rate toys and the ability to print out favorite characters.
